In this video (linked from my YouTube channel) I review the book “Extraordinary Insects” by Anne Sverdrup-Thygeson. It is a book I thoroughly recommend. Be sure to watch till the end where there are some bloopers!

I plan to do more of these book reviews but only if there is an audience for them. Please let me know what you think in the comments section.

  1. Hi Denis, thanks so much for the blog and the book review! My dad and I found your site last night while we were looking online for the culprit that has been deforming our midyim berry cuttings we have propagated from the mid north NSW coast. Almost certain now its a gall inducing coccid of some sort. I’d attach a photo if I could.
You’ve also just solved his new 2019 “What the bloody hell is this?” mystery which turns out to be the Botany Bay Weevil from another previous blog, great pics!
Thanks again and look forward to getting your books as presents and reading more blogs and reviews in the future!
    Liam, Brisbane. 2020!
